PERLANE:
A hyaluronic acid gel like Restylane. Perlane is a larger partical than Restylane so it has more “push power for those deeper lines and folds. Also excellent for filling in the jawline in front of jowls and depressed or sunken cheeks.
INTENSE PULSE LIGHT:
We just took delivery of the latest generation IPL (Intense Pulse Light ) machine. Our Aesthetician, Maria, is excited about offering this enhanced treatment, especially for sun damaged skin, brown spots and discoloration, telangiectasia (broken capillaries), rosacea, acne, Poikiloderma, and more, all over the body.
JUVEDERM
Allergan, the Botox company, has received FDA approval for their hyaluronic acid, Juvederm. Dr. Voci has been using Juvederm for almost a year now and it is his and his staff’s and patients’ preference for lip volume enhancement. He is so enthusiastic about Juvederm in the lips that he has augmented more lips in the last year than in his entire career before the hyaluronic acids.
THREAD LIFT
Came and went as fast as it came. Dr. Voci never saw the logic behind the thread facelift and never did one. He has taken out many threads, however, that were placed elsewhere and caused major problems. Dr. Voci has been the first to do many innovative treatments and operations in his career, but has correctly turned down many more that were unsound.
BREAST IMPLANT UPDATE:
Silicone gel breast implants are improved and are more readily available. Cohesive gel filler and the solid gel implants are being used with success around the country. Dr. Voci feels that they should be used where indicated i.e. in those women with no or very little breast tissue, and especially if the patient is thin.
